Flea treatments that also kill ticks

We have lots of long grass out the back of our house and despite having never seen a flea or a tick on my cat, I'm sure they are out there! However, my cat is awkward as she had a bad reaction to Bravecto, which caused breathing difficulties, so we can't use anything with fluralaner or anything from the same chemical family (isoxazolines). Most flea and tick treatments I've found are from this same family, apart from frontline, which I've heard is often ineffective due to over use.

Does anyone know of anyone anything else or is worth trying frontline to see what happens? Currently we use Prinocate but that doesn't kill ticks.

Seresto collar could be an option or activyl spot on.

The activyl tick is only for dogs as apparently it killed several cats!
Also the serestro collars have had more reports of adverse effects than any other flea/tick product.
I'm starting to wonder if I should be putting pesticides on her at all 😭

There is a totally separate activyl for cats. The deaths were where owners accidentally applied dog activyl to their cat.
The Seresto collar is still an excellent option.

The seresto collar issues are from 'fake collars' if you buy from a website that is licenced by the VMD you will not run into issues of fake products.
