Anyone escaped proofed their garden?

We have 2 new rescue cats after my old boy of 14 years went missing.
We went to great lengths to try & find him but never did!

Anyway that has made me do nervous about letting the new cats out, terrified of them getting lost or run over!

I want them to be able to go outside, so thinking of cat proofing the garden so they can't get out with some forward leaning mesh wire on top of the fence.

Has anyone successfully managed to do this? If so what did you use?

First time out! They are taking it in turns to lead the escape committee but no break outs yet!

Sorry thecat I am an idiot, it was from EBay - cat retainer mesh kit was the description!

It looks to be out of stock now but I think the original listing said they tend to come & go quite quickly!
