Hello, our poor boy got hit by a car (we think) and has a broken pelvis. He is now home and on cage rest for 6 weeks. Poor dude is going to go nuts.

We have feliway plugged in, but any other tips?

We had our pup on cage rest when she had a nasty accident and had to have her leg reattached. She was in a big cage so she could stand and we did let her out because she was so unhappy but would happily just lie on her bed if we were there (reader, we were there, we took turns sleeping down stairs for weeks). They get used to it and you know it's for the best. I hope he feels better soon

Zylkene for the poor cat, alcohol for you!

You can get dried catnip toys for him and let him watch bird/mouse videos on YouTube.

Yes.... cat TV and earplugs for you. I used to put treats in a puzzle game, which occupied him for at least 2 minutes.

Put a bird feeder in the window, put the radio on for him and sit with him whn you can. They do cope surprisingly well though - remember that they sleep most of the time!
