Zeus is now a cuddle monster!

I did an update with photos about Zeus my ex feral cat a few weeks ago and one comment said he looked like a cuddle monster. Well he is. After 10.5 months of hiding, accidents, refusing to use his tray we reached a corner this weekend. He is now shouting for cuddles ever trine he sees me - he had 5 years of no cuddles so I think he wants to make that time up! Supervises his food being put out and will walk around the house with me. I’m so happy and Zeus is too.

I followed advice on here just to leave him alone, just talk to him if we were in the same room, not try to pat him. Let him come to me and it worked. Please ignore the fur on the curtains that was his safe space and I didn’t go near it. @PerrinAybara

I've got hairy curtains like that as well sounds like a euphemism and couldn't give a nick! My mother would have needed a chair to faint into and some smelling salts/brandy

Love this. I've been feeding a one-eyed feral cat for over a year. Last week he sat on the sofa on the kitchen for the first time ❤️

Yeah, we chat to our ex-feral, don't try to touch her and go at her pace. There has been a lot of progress, but only to the stage of sitting near us. I'd love cuddles but I expect she's just not a cuddly cat.
