Cat with saggy belly & raw skin.

Hooding someone else might tell me I'm not going mad......

My 13yo cat has a really saggy belly. Always has done and getting worse. When she runs you see it away from side to side. A couple of months ago I noticed she had lost fit and it was red - she was licking it a lot.

We did the collar steroids etc and it mostly healed up. Not completely but wasn't too bad again so hadn't yet taken her to vets. Decided to try feliway in case stress related and then at the same time my other cat got injured in a fight and so I had to keep them both in while he recovered.

I noticed that her belly had really started healing due growing back etc. i let them out again (which lasted 2 days as same cat came back and had another fight with him) raw skin and licking came back. Shut in again and. Is healing again. I can only think that when she's out her saggy belly is maybe catching on things like fences when she is jumping that is irritating it. Am I going mad or has anyone else any suggestions?

And if it is that's what's the answer? I cannot keep them in permanently. Maybe a cat bra....?!

No advice about the skin I'm afraid but laughing at the thought of a cat bra.

If you saw her running you would agree she needs one!
