Bringing a cat 9n holiday?

Self catering holiday in a friend's holiday home 90 mins drive away in a rural setting. She regularly brings her cats but my cat hates the cat carrier. DF has offered us her house for a week. My cat is miserable in a cattery. Should I chance bringing her? She is very bonded to me...

If you can guarantee your cat won't get outside, then I'd do it. But don't let her out.

FWIW, my cats hate the carrier too, so when I recently had to do a road trip with them (3 days!) I ended up opening the cage and giving them the option of getting out. They calmed right down and just napped once they knew they could get out if they wanted.

No.

What if she escapes through an open window and bolts?
What will you do about damages if she gets anxious and pees and poos on the floor, or scratches up the furniture?

Leave her at home and hire someone to come in and feed her instead.

We did but it was my parents second house so they’d been going since kittens. Is there another cattery? My bonded Bengal was ok in Catteries but better in the nicer once if we had to book elsewhere he was not happy
