That's it really. Have pots of lavender on patio but planning to enclose patio safely for our indoor (so far) cat.
Getting mixed messages when Google.
Have moved pots but is the plant dangerous for cats? I know essential oil is...Also, suggestions for cat friendly pot plants would be welcome! Thanks.

My garden's full of lavender and cats😸 Not one cat has come to any harm indoors or outdoors.

Lavender plants are fine for cats. They’re not going to eat it. You’re better off looking up what plants not to have

Thanks for advice.
On search lavender came up, as did geraniums which I like in pots!
Don't want our patio to be a plant free prison yard! Only preventing from going in rest of garden due to busy road.
Waiting for our cat fencing to be fitted across patio which should make area safe. Escorted visits outside at first, just in case!

This is the most reliable database to check. www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants/lavender

Lavender is toxic although there are degrees of toxicity, most plants can have some harmful effects if ingested. The main ones to avoid are lilies of all types, they are actually fatally toxic even in small quantities.
