Does anyone have any idea about how to safely rehome my mum's cat. Mum died a month ago and left her little female cat, who is about 12 years old. We've asked everyone we can think of if they would like her, rung Cats Protection etc, and nobody will take her.

She's a great little lap cat, goes outside to toilet and comes back in. She's be ideal for an old person. I'd keep her myself but I have a very territorial Tom cat who would kill her (he's got form for chasing off cats in the past). I'm getting really concerned now. Any help or ideas would be very welcome.

Sorry for the sad loss of your mum💐

Have you tried The Cinnamon Trust? They might be able to help.

You've probably looked at all of these, but just in case...

Celia Hammond? Thecatneuterer might have some suggestions there?

Hope you find a home for her. She sounds lovely.

My cat was 10/11 when I adopted her and she has adapted to us so don’t give up. The dh wasn’t sure how old she was so she’s 11/12 this year.

Thank you both. We've found a rescue that has now taken her EnvyConfusedSmile
