Cat diarrhea and vetpro

Our cat (just over a year old) has had diarrhea for about a week now. We did make a change to his diet very gradually and all seemed fine but then he started with wet poo a week ago. So we switched back.
Spoke to the vet on weds who said as long as he is fine in himself and drinking plenty then nothing to worry about and it will clear up fairly quickly.
By Friday he's still got extremely wet poo and the occasional errrr wet fart. So called vet again who again said nothing to worry about but suggested we try vetpro. Which we have but just wondered if anyone else had tried this? How long until things start to get better? I just think this can't be nice for him.
When we first adopted him he had worms and one of the symptoms there was diarrhea but he is fully wormed now (has the tablets from the vet that last 3 months is due his next dose in 2 weeks)

Which VetPro do you have Digestive Function or Intestinal Support. I use both routinely in diarrhoea cases. I find digestive function harder to get into cat being a paste.

@Lonecatwithkitten digestive function.
He seems to take it no problem.

It is very useful for resolving diarrhoea if the cat will eat it.

Pumpkin purée can help too.

Just for info, worming tablets aren't preventative, they just kill off any existing worms, so cats who are prone to worms need doing more often (once a month for a regular hunting cat).

Well he's been taking the vet pro fine but now he hasn't had a poo since taking his first dose.
