Chlorambucil

Has anyone had to give their cat Clorambucil? Its a type of chemo drug thats kept in the fridge. This is her second course (first time was short, she was very ill) and I'm wondering if her behaviour is down to her still being very ill or side effects of the drugs. She's on steroids every second day as well (since November). Vet says different animals respond differently (same as humans) so no real help.

Anyway, how did your cat react, and how did you manage to ease any side effects?

I have used chlorambucil with a number of cat patients for lymphoma. Cats with small cell lymphoma do really well often living several years on treatment. Large cell lymphoma is less response and they do less well.

Thank you for replying. How was their behaviour generally? I cant work out if its the tablets or her illness. She's very lethargic almost depressed, hardly moving, and struggling to eat. I don't know whether to keep going (as its tablets) or to make "that call" as its the illness iyswim.
