Back up plans if flight cancelled - WWYD?

We're flying in the next few days and have a return flight late at night. I've been keeping an eye on cancellations with our airline and for the last three days our late night flight has been cancelled (the next flight out with airline isn't until 10am). I'm worried in case this happens as I'm meant to be collecting cats from cattery the next morning.

WWYD?

A. Do nothing and hope cattery have somewhere to put them (could be fully booked for Easter though)

B. See if cattery has space to keep them before I go, but if they don't they're going to know I might not be able to collect. It's Easter, so if I don't collect on Saturday, I can't get them until Tuesday.

C. My Mum has said she'd come here Saturday lunchtime and feed them/stay over night. She doesn't drive, but is willing to get bus here. In this event, I need to get the cats back here -
(i) I could ask BIL in lives close (but DH doesn't want to - he can be a bit awkward although we feed his gerbils when he's away, so could call in a favour in return if he's free).
(ii) Message my local friends in advance and see if someone thinks they'll be free to collect (would take 30 mins), then ask them to put water and dry cat food down to tide over until my Mum comes. None of them have pets, so a bit ask
(iii) Ask cattery if they'd arrange a taxi to get them back here - this really is my least favourite option as I'm having to put my trust in someone I don't know to get them here (my Mum would get a taxi here if she needed to be earlier).

I've looked into booking an earlier flight (as a back up) for just me, but prices have doubled so an expensive option.

I would just book them into the cattery until Tuesday if possible.

If you're back on time, you can collect them as normal and just suck up the extra couple of days cost, and if your flight is cancelled, you don't need to worry about the cats.

Thanks for your reply. When I took them in February, the cattery said they were pretty much booked up from Easter, so if I can't extend I'm stuck and they'll know there's a potential hiccup.

But you can't just leave them there and hope for the best either.

At least ask the cattery if they can help - if not you'll have to pay for your mum to collect them and bring them home in a taxi, or ask if a local dog walker can do pet transport.
