Cat wee in the car!

MrCat weed and pooed himself in the carrier just now. Little bastard darling managed to wee out of the carrier and into the seat belt buckle and on the fabric of the seat itself. Fortunately the poo remained contained within the carrier.

I've chucked a load of bicarb on the seat fabric, but what else can I do? I am allergic to Febreeze and Zoflora, so I cannot use them.

Maybe buy one of the pet urine removers you get from the pet shop.

White vinegar will neutralise the smell

You need enzymes to break down the odour molecules which is what's in the pet urine sprays. Or try a solution of biological washing detergent and see if that does the same job

How will I get the detergent out of the seat?

Before your replies appeared I had vacuumed up the bicarb but the seat was still damp. I sprayed the seat and buckle housing with hand sanitiser, and when it had evaporated, chucked on a load more bicarb to continue absorbing and - hopefully - deodourising.

Not sure I have any bio detergent, only bio stain remover.
