Cat goes mad after eating Felix soup

Im probably being overly suspicious but Im wondering if they put anything in it to create desirability?

She is very fussy and now only eats Felix but is very very keen on the soup version and after she has eaten it goes absolutely mad around the house, doesnt really do it that much at other times.

Anyone elses cat do this?

No my cats have never had that reaction to felix soup

Maybe its a cats version of a sugar rush

I had some felix cat soup in the cupboard so I gave some to our cat to see what happens with her (tuna flavour). She ate the lot then went back to bed for three hours. Either your cat is reacting to a specific ingredient in it or I don't have a real cat lol

My cats love it but I haven't noticed them go mad off it!

It's probably a reaction to one of the ingredients.

Maybe she just really really loves it and has euphoria to burn off

My dog rubs her face and body all over the rug/sofa in ecstasy for a few minutes when he's had a meals he's extra pleased with!

@99pronouns my dog used to do this. I also thought he was happy til I realised he did it after a bath and actually he was just wiping his face on the furniture!

I don't know much about cat food but Felix is a budget brand isn't it, like Bakers or Pedigree is for dogs? They can make dogs go loopy as they're full of crap, so it wouldn't be surprising.

One of my cats goes mad running about the house like that when he needs a poo.

Mine goes that too.

Not sure which is worse....gravy covered whiskers being rubbed on my sofa or wet dog?

I know this post is a b it old now, but my cat also goes loopy after Felix soup. It's so weird. She starts whizzing around the house likes she's on crack!
