My cat didn't come home

I'm probably worrying for no reason but my cat went out as normal yesterday morning but didn't come home.
I was hoping that when I got up this morning he would be day on the sofa full of tales of his adventures but he wasn't here. 🙁
He's got prior form for this, last time he went for a walk it took 2 years to get him home.
I know exactly where he will be but I can't help worrying.

Fingers crossed he's back soon.

2 years?? Where was he?

@Itsnotover, he was at the local scrap yard. They did keep an eye on him and seemed very fond of him.

Omg. I suppose if he thinks he has a second home he might do this.

I hope he comes home soon.

He's a wanderer, then? Hope he comes back to you very soon. Will you visit the scrap yard to see if he's gone back there?

@Want2beme, if he's not home this evening I will message the very lovely lady at the scrap yard and ask her to keep an eye out for him.
He's an absolute little sod and I worry about him all the time.
