Hi im really after some reasurrance as keep beating myself up that she may have suffered
My 7 month old kitten was hit and killed by car last night. There was a severe trauma to one side head and a lot of blood …. But she was moving/stretching for a couple minutes before stopped breathing
Do you think she would of been out of it instantly or that she would have known about these last minutes? It was so distressing to see
Thanks and sorry about gory details

I’m so sorry,I lost mine this way. Most likely reflexes. It’s awful isn’t it.

Toddlerteaplease · 18/03/2022 20:37

I would think she was unconscious and it was a reflex. So sorry for your loss

Pudmyboy · 18/03/2022 20:48

I hope it was reflex too, I am so sorry for your loss Flowers

I think she would have been reassured by your presence.

Try not to think about if she suffered. She went quickly and you did your very best for her. As WirKindervomBahnhofZoo has said, your presence would have helped a lot. Vets have often said to me that being there with them at the end of life is what they need. She's at peace now. So sorry for your lossFlowers
