Unvaccinated kitten and cattery?

New kitten, approximate age 3 months, can’t get it vaccinated in time to board it at a cattery before our 3 day holiday at Easter !

Don’t know anyone with young kittens to help out and can’t leave him alone in the house even if we did find someone to just come and feed him when we’re gone, he likes company.

Any advice please? Can’t change the holiday date.

No, no friends with kittens, and relatives either unwilling or dog owners.

Sounds like you need a cat sitter. It will be tough on such a young kitten being alone, so, might be worth paying someone to spend a bit of time with him/her.

Google ‘cat sitter near me’ and you should definitely get some results.

Please make sure they are DBS checked, have the necessary insurance and have (as minimum) training in animal first aid.

Yes, they won't be old enough to leave for a full work day so you will need someone to stay in the house.

You'll need to pay for a cat sitter if you're not happy to leave her alone with someone popping in and out.

He's too young to be left alone, a cat sitter is really the only option. He's hardly had chance to get used to you and his surroundings as it is.
