Our vet has recommended either Royal Canine Sensitivity or Royal Canine Gastrointestinal.

Have any lovely MN cats had either of these? The Gastrointestinal is very expensive but if it works obv I'll pay for it. TIA

See if zooplus sells it online

Zooplus sells just about every Royal Canin type there is, pretty sure I've seen both of those on there.

Getting special food from the vet tends to be a very expensive way to get it.

Our old boy had soft, bloody mucus stools when we adopted him and the vet recommended the RC gastrointestinal stuff. It does cost a fortune (and I'd just topped up on all his old food so that all had to get donated) but it has fixed his poo issues and he does seem to enjoy it.

Little sod still goes on the mat not the tray sometimes but I think that's now a habit from his painful poo days Sad

My Dd's cat, who is also called Zelda btw, has raw for the same issue and it works for her.
She's a Maine Coon, (the cat, my Dd is a human) is that makes a difference.

Cheddar has a very sensitive tummy and didn't tolerate Rotal canon at all. But she tolerates Iams vitality. You could try that. It's also much cheaper.
