Looking for some advice or someone who has been in a similar situation. We adopted two black cats two years ago (brothers). Both are microchipped and neutered and get along well.
In December one cat went missing. He had lunch went out and just didn't come back. We posted flyers around the neighbourhood, put up posters, went out searching night and day. Followed up every lead we could but no trace.
Fast forward to this week and the second black cat has also gone missing. He went out on Thursday after his lunch and hasn't come back. Again no trace off him. We have been out searching and if not back by tomorrow going to do some flyers again.
How can two cats go missing in the space of 3 months? Do you think there is a possibility they have been stolen or taken in by someone thinking they are stays. Both are black cats so I would think they would be stolen to sell.
I am also 7 months pregnant do you think they can sense it and have ran away?
We are both so devastated this has happened again. We have put so much effort into finding tracking every black cat sighting it has taken it out on us mentally and now to have to do it again.
Just looking for some advice or anyone dealt with anything similar?
