My male 9 month kitten has suddenly this week started peeing on my sofa never had issues before any ideas why, and how I can stop it. Thanks

Take him to the vet, he might have cystitis.
Could he be stressed about something?

Thanks never thought it could be a medical issue just thought he was being a naughty kitty thanks will get him checked over.

I agree cystitis or stress my cat has gone to the same thing recently through stress it became quite a big issue very quickly vet check-up is a very good idea.

If he uses a litter tray or you notice in weeing outside does he seem to strain or revisit is litter tray frequently and not able to pee much.
