Best toys for older cat

Mines 12 and got lymphoma and she still loves her lazer toy

My boy is 19, has got loads of toys he doesn't even look at, then the other day was swiping at - and biting -my GDs plaits . Perhaps one of the fishing rod type of toy? Someone would need to wave it about though!

So far this toy on a wire and this catnip toy are the only toys our 11 year old boy is interested in. He glances at a laser dot and then ignores it. He might occasionally pounce on a trailing ribbon, but that's it.
