My little lady lumps

I regularly sing this Black Eyed Peas song to my lady dcats, they love it My boycats are stripey so they are treated to 'Tiger Feet' and 'Africa' by Toto 😸

Which songs do your cats enjoy?

Mine is probably rather niche but I sing Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellen Bogen by the Sea because my boy is called Gilbert!

My current two cats walk away when I start singing to them but I used to sing Soft Kitty 🐱 to their predecessor. It helped relax her so when she was going into the vets for anaesthesia for her waking up in case so she would know I was "with" her sang soft kitty into an old phone so they could play it as she woke up. Even now when my two visit the Vets and staff usually sing it to me.

I'm sure they had a good laugh but it worked as she tried to attack one of the nurses when they were taking her from the cage so they left her in the cage for a few minutes with it playing and she rolled over and didn't fight them anymore so it became a staple in her Vets trips.

I used to sing the You And Me song by the Wannadies to my boy.
He was not impressed and would put his paw over my mouth

Thanks for that version of The Flintstones..... I have mindworm of that now.

We call our two kittens "the boys" and I'm always singing "boys, boys, boys" (summertime love by Sabrina). Especially funny when my four year old adds "I'm looking for a good time!"

Or "I was busy thinking about boys" (boys - Charli XCX)
