It’s been a busy morning…

My humans were really looking forward to their only lie in of the week this morning so I thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some quality time with them…

I woke my Mum up at about 5 but cuddling in so close to her she woke up barely able to breathe. Then before 7 I made sure I climbed over both Mum and Dad a few times to check they were okay. Mum was sleepy but Dad was nearly awake so I made a few shouty meow’s to get some attention and then they were both awake.

I then did the breakfast dance up and down the bed so Dad had to get up to check my automatic cat feeder had opened (it had) so he could keep watch when I ate my breakfast. Then we went back to bed for a bit. Then Mum needed the bathroom so I took her and attacked the bathmat whilst she had a wee to check there was nothing dangerous in my shadow. Dad was back asleep when we went back to bed so I climbed on him to get some attention again, even though Mum was awake and willing to give me some fuss.

Now I’m really tired so I need a nap… these humans are such hard work…

(Both the humans are wide awake and very bemused that the cat is now back to sleep after his repeated insistence that we wake up…)

It’s been a busy morning…

Sounds very hard work for a Saturday morning! You poor puss.

Mistressofnone · 12/02/2022 20:11

Ha ha that is Cheddar!

Sparklingcat decided everything from my nightstand should be relocated onto the floor early this morning. Then she sat on it just staring at me. Angry

She too like @user1471548941 's cat is fast asleep.

I can't be too mad, she's off for a dental on Wednesday and she is nil by mouth from 12 midnight beforehand, so that's going to be fun. Sad

It’s a full time job being a cat with two humans to look after.

Our cats have their Dreamies at 1.30 , they know and start the "Wellllll????" look about 1pm

They had them , then about 2pm , I helped myself to a few nuts from a bag , into a smalll bowl. (For me , not the cats )
Female Cat gave me a hoo'er of a look when she realised they weren;t a 2nd helping of Dreamies !

They are both asleep on dining room chairs . Plotting my demise no doubt

Oh I love cats!

My boy has marched all round the bed noisily this morning before jumping up and falling asleep draped over me in the cutest pose!

The result is that he is asleep, I am now awake and stroking him whilst gazing adoringly at him…. I swear they plan it!
