One of my cats has suddenly become obsessed with shadows. She's 6 and has never been like this before. From morning till night she's scanning everywhere, pouncing on the shadows, which invariably means she ends up pouncing on our feet as we cast shadows as we walk around the house.
We have taken to turning the lights off to reduce the amount of shadows available!
In all other respects she is happy and healthy. She is now extremely skittish as she is either looking for shadows or pouncing on them. It must be exhausting for her.
Is this something to be worried about?
