I have a female cat, around 5 years old by the vet's guesstimate. She was a stray for several years and has been with me for around 6 months. She follows me everywhere and is always on me or right next to me. Around 3 months in, she started licking me and it just got more and more frequent, to the point now where she's licking me constantly unless I actively prevent her from doing it. At cute as it is, she's licking my skin raw and it's really uncomfortable and this obviously isn't normal. She is a particularly anxious cat. Can anyone advise about how to decrease this? I have Feliway infusers plugged in always.
