Interactive cat toys

My girls have a selection of interactive toys and there is zilch interest in them. Sometimes the laser pen dot illicits some mild interest but then they wander off to do something more important like sleep.

A flying frenzy wand, nope, a motion actived whirry thing that spins a furry mouse round, nope, a flapping fish, nope. They looked at that as if it was the work of the devil. Also a laser dot thingy that you switch on and it sends the dot racing around for 15 minutes a time, nope.
A stray elastic band on the other hand is the most wonderful invention ever. I dont leave them unattended with elastic bands mind.
I think i will donate these toys to cat rescue for the resident cats there.

I suppose some cats are just not interested in toys but i do try and stimulate their minds but its a lost cause.

One of mine goes nuts for the spring toys that roll. She bats them and chases. The other thinks she's mad.
