Wise Mumsnetters, can you help me please??
I have posted about DCat aka Madam Cat previously. We have had her for almost 2 years - she is an 11yo rescue who loves treats, lapsitting and cuddles and hates going outside.
To cut a long story short, she went through a phase of pooping outside her litter tray in various places downstairs Envy (not envy). The vet checked her out and advised that this was a behavioural issue and recommended Feliway, so we bought a Classic plug-in. Whilst it took her another two weeks to settle down we assume it has made a difference as we ddint change anything else and the issue seems to have resolved - how long should we continue with refills?

The refills last about 4 weeks. If they have worked it was because something was stressing her I'd guess. I'd be loathe to stop anytime soon if you don't know what was causing her to be stressed so I'd carry on with them for a few months at least and see if you can figure out what was bothering her before you stop using them. It's a hard habit to break and you don't want her to revert to it again.

@Logoplanter thanks so much for replying. Will keep going with it.

We're just not sure. She has been as affectionate as usual, and boldly mewing for her food as always!

I’m a felloway convert! I was very skeptical that they were doing anything at first but when they run out, our cats bicker with each other a bit and when we have them plugged in we have a heap of cats cuddled up in a pile on our bed. One of ours is a stress wee-er. We always find a random wee sprayed somewhere if we every host a party, but it doesn’t happen any other times now we have the plug ins. Wouldn’t be without them now and have a few plugged in round the house. We have the optimum ones.
