Paper collars

It always makes me laugh when I see people advising to put a paper collar on a cat. Given a cats ability to remove a normal
Collar. Do they actually think a paper one will stay on?

We use paper collars all the time and they are so strong the only way to get them off is to cut them off, and we even have to put a nick in them so the cat won't strangle itself if it get it caught. But these are proper, purpose made, paper collars that rescues and presumably vets have.

I agree that a paper collar made out of normal paper would be useless.
