Anyone found Advocate has stopped working?

Have been using Advocate on my cat for years and it's always worked well. She's been suffering with some fur loss recently and I was horrified yesterday to discover several fleas on her!

I'll speak to the vet for advice but wondered if anyone else has had issues with Advocate not working well?

What else is there to try?

I use stronghold plus on my 2

Yes our vet practice has noticed this recently. Advantage seems to have stopped working, and I've just realised that Advantage and Advocate have the same basic active ingredient (although Advocate has something else as well). So it is probably the same for Advocate.

We now use Endectrid instead of Advantage.

Thanks, I think it's a bit of a worry that quite a lot of flea treatments aren't working well now. I stopped using frontline a few years ago as it didn't do anything.

Will talk to the vet about alternatives.

Watching to see what gets recommended. I went back to Frontline as it handles ticks which one of my cats is prone to, but I know by reputation it's not the most effective one for fleas.

Endectrid works well.
