he visits the pub across the road. Apparently, he watches the road for cars, then crosses 😆

Where do yours get to in day?

Brilliant! What's his tipple?

Santaisstilleatingmincepies · 07/01/2022 22:08

Whiskers chaser?

Want2beme · 07/01/2022 22:17

I'll have to ask what's his preference and open a tab for himGrin

Been wondering where he disappears to.

Aw the pub I used to go to as a teenager (mid 90s) had a pub cat. Twas an attention loving hussy, we used to buy it scampi fries Grin

That’s nice to hear. I was always tempted with a tracker but mine don’t keep collars on so it would be very expensive for a five minute stalk of them!

One of mine is a floozy and follows anyone who walks past. She hangs out in the front garden at school run time after the attention of passers by. She has been the subject of many village Facebook posts “does anyone know this very friendly cat” etc (she doesn’t wear a collar as she never keeps it on). Most of the village know she’s mine and her name etc.

tricksyt · 07/01/2022 22:27

Mine looks both ways before he crosses too!

TheLongRider · 07/01/2022 23:29

Is that the young fella or the older boy? I'll assume that he's having a Guinness with a whiskey chaser and a packet of King crisps!

At least you know he'll be home after 8pm with the current restrictions.

Want2beme · 07/01/2022 23:45

Young one, TheLongRider, big lad's lying beside him. He's a sociable lad, so the pub's the obvious village hangout. Chap who owns the pub, says he arrived there first, before he made his way to me several months ago Hmm

The writer Tom Cox (Under the Paw, among other things) once said his cat Roscoe went to his local too. I think I remember that he said she ignored him whenever she saw him there!

My little one adores cats. Will stroke one for ages, in all weathers. Just wanted to wave at those with fusspots and thank them for their service 😁
