Anyone know of anywhere that sells the 4 packs? Everywhere seems to be sold out. Or when I thought I'd found somewhere, turned out they are in Ireland and don't ship to the Uk. Annoying as it was a really good price.

4 packs of what? I'm confused.

mrsrobin · 07/01/2022 22:10

Some vet practices sell them - maybe try ringing some of the more independent ones.

Is this to try get pills down cats??

Way way cheaper to buy webbox lik-e-lix

My cat has just had 3 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steroids. I crushed each tablet between 2 spoons and mixed into a tablespoon of lik-e-lix. Went down straight away to the point that when I go to get my own tablets out the cats circle me like the raptors on Jurassic world 😂😂 and the sticks are about £2 for 5 so way cheaper than the ones you are looking at.

Sadly my catis a wise old thing and lik e lix are too watery to disguise the pills. I usually use Brussels pate but when he decides he doesn't want it anymore he won't take them. With this pate stuff he has been amazing and taken them every time, no issue. He is on 3 tablets a day for hyperthyroidism and high blood pressure and has been for 6 years.

Primula cheese spread with ham works well for mine!

I use the same.

If you are in the East Midlands then I know Scarsdale vets (they have over 11 practices) sell it otherwise try checking all your local vet surgeries.

Omg there is garlic in human pate extremely toxic to cats

longtompot · 08/01/2022 10:49

I am very grateful for the other suggestions, but honestly, I have tried everything, and when it's years of trying to give meds to a fussy cat, and now I have discovered something (via mumsnet only very recently) I was just hoping someone had a link of somewhere I could buy the small amount.
