Kitten doesn't eat a lot

Hi all
Just need a bit of advice regarding our kitten.
She is 5 months old, we feed her royal canin kitten wet food and the dry food.
We give her it twice a day , half a pouch of the wet food in the morning and the other half in the eve,
She seems to nibble s bit of it almost like she eats the jelly.off it and leaves a lot of it.
Should we think about changing her food.or is this how kittens eat!? She eats the dry stuff no problems.
Are we feeding her to much so she is.overfaced, or should I feed her less?

The amount sounds about normal especially if she eats the dry food also. Smile Although if she’s picking off the jelly and leaving much of the wet food it may be because she’s not keen on it. Mine like Purina most.

It sounds like she just doesn't like the wet food if she's eating the dry with no problems.

Mine will eat pretty much any biscuits going but they're really fussy when it comes to wet food. Why not try a food in gravy or a pate style food instead?

Mine are nearly 2 and unless I get really posh cat meat in gravy, they just lick the jelly off and leave the meat.
Fussy buggers.

Some prefer pate food, when they leave the chunks they don’t like it.

My cat is exactly the same! 5 months old - half a Pouch of wet food morning and night and dry food out too. She licks the jelly off and leaves the meat! We’ve tried pate - didn’t touch it. Expensive food - still licks the jelly off! She seems to enjoy it though so we keep giving it to her!
