Have you ever had a call from the RSPCA?

Had a missed call from the RSPCA
last night at 11pm - definitely their number but no voicemail.

I have a missing cat I've been searching for but haven't posted my number anywhere, it's only on his microchip.

Not sure how else they'd have my number... however when I rang them this morning, the woman seemed confused and said there was no case for me? Feeling very perplexed and have got my hopes up!

Yes, when I called to report some flea ridden kittens I found in my shed with no mother to be seen.

They told me to leave them to get ill then they could deal with them.

They called 4 or 5 times to ask me for a donation due to the 'help' they provided me. I imagine your missed call was to ask for money.

How strange though, I've never ever contacted the RSPCA about anything so truly don't understand how they'd have my number. It also feels quite a coincidence in timing as my cats been missing for just under two weeks

You should be able to find out from the chip company if your lost cat's records have been accessed recently.
