6 month kitten - poo 'spots' after going

Nearly 6 month old brother and sister kittens.
Boy kitten neutered 29/11, checked since and healed well, no issues (girl kitten gets done tomorrow)
However over the last 4 days, boy kitten goes as usual - everything as normal, but he's leaving a little bum circle poo imprint afterwards, a bit light brown squishy / clearish liquid or something - yet his poo is normal consistency not runs.
Trying to check online, could this be something with anal glands / need vets appt?
Thank you wise litter tray mumsnetters 😺😊

That sounds like anal glands to me but you'd know for sure because it's absolutely stinking.

Mmm 🤔 he's not stinking.... I mean his poo stinks but it usually does...

It's happened to my boy cat. Both times when I've picked him up, and then when he's jumped down I've been left with a horrendous pong and brown clear liquid. Only happened about 3 times and not got a fair wee while now so hopefully it's a thing of the past. He's only 2.
