My cat had a fit this morning and it was so scary. I heard a noise when I was upstairs so came down and found her fitting, frothing at the mouth and writhing around on the floor. It lasted about a minute. Took her to the vet for a check up and he thinks it was an epileptic seizure. He said it’s a case of watch and wait to see if/when it happens again. If it happens again soon then he may need to do further investigations and look at medicating. Fingers crossed it might be a one off but my vet says there’s a 60% chance of it happening again.
Does anyone have any experience?
