What sort of things do they get up too? My friend mentioned something her cat used to do. And it made me realise that my pair, beautiful and lovely as they are, really don't have much going on upstairs. They don't get up to mischief.

DH said dcat has a new habit of not moving towards the food if it is not what she wants. Sure enough today I put down some Dreamies and it was some wet food she wanted. Put that down and she moved to the food straight away.

@pureblackvoid your story made me laugh a lot

We had a cat who learnt to throw scraps to the dog to keep her quiet when she was pinching food off the side in the kitchen.

1 of ours is a clever naughty mare, but also clever enough to turn into a big softy demanding cuddles when she's gone too far

She can open any door, even the round handles on our bedrooms, though that took her a bit longer to suss out

She has a ritual when she wants treats that we call the Dreamies dance... though if we say no, she has been known to open the drawer, get the lid off the tub & help herself

She gets in the bath, she gets in the shower & can't be locked out or she'll claw up the carpet & lock me in... only does this with meHmm

Steals socks, knickers & bras & hides them under beds etc... I'm currently down to 4 pairs of pants Hmm

I could go on... she's a big loveable sod

Boy cat is as soppy & as dopey as they come

Our cats are clearly now training each other. Shock Last night (for the first time) Sybil used Basil's trick (mentioned up-thread), trying to paw the same picture off the wall to get our attention.

If I wake up too early for Capn, who loves his kip, he slaps his plumy ginger tail across my eyes to make me think it’s still dark. Best blindfold ever.
