Good food for kitten

I have tried a few grain free ones and she won’t eat them. She will only eat Felix or Whiskas but it gives her smelly soft poops.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Your kitten would like to suggest smoked salmon, rare roast beef, lightly poached chicken breast and succulent juicy prawns.

which foods do not cause cat poo to stink?

Is there someone on MN whose cat does not yield stinky poos?

Our cats have Applaws tins with Hills t/d biscuits (its a dental food, helps to reduce plaque). The Applaws tins are very meaty - chunks of tuna and prawns etc - but can't be fed on their own as not a complete diet

I’d try feeding biscuit/dry cat food as much as possible. It’s better nutritionally, better for their teeth and less smelly poos! If she refuses dry food, slowly wean her off wet food and leave bowl of dry down so she can nibble at it in between meals

Ps always make sure when feeding dry food they have access to clean water bowl x
