Kitten runny poop

My kitten (6 months old) in the past few days has developed diarrhoea/runny poop on occasion. It isn’t every poop just seems to be the morning ones.

She is otherwise happy bouncy and playful as normal. She is an indoor cat so I know she hasn’t eaten anything she shouldn’t.

I have removed wet food to try and calm it down and just left her with her dry food which she is ok with. Is there anything I can do to calm it? If it doesn’t improve within 24hours I will take her to the vets.

I suspect the issue is her wet food as it coincides with a fresh box of Felix kitten I opened the other day. The problem is she won’t eat anything but whiskas or Felix I have tried my hardest but she turns her nose up at anything else. Any recommendations of food I can try her on?

Gorgeous! I always give them a feline probiotic such as Purina Fortiflora first.

One of mine had the runs after her jabs, I got some tummy settler from Amazon on the vets suggestion (vets would have charged me £38.41 for the same tube on Amazon for less than a tenner!) had kaolin in it and worked a treat.

I recently stopped giving felix as it was making my kitten sick. Have been buying chicken iams from amazon. She also had diohrea but had just finished a week of antibiotics. I gave a worming treatment just to rule that out and a probiotic paste. Sometimes these things right themselves so if she is drinking fluids and has plenty of energy, fingers crossed its nothing too serious (although I tend to panic and think the worst)
