New rescue kitten hiding

Hi fellow cat lovers
I brought home a very shy stray kitten yesterday. He'd been in CPL for a month so used to people and good temperament. He has hidden under our book shelf, came out for food and went back under.
Should I keep bringing him out or just leave him to settle?
Thanks

Fabby. I'm sure now he's made this step you'll see him much more.

He's certainly looking a lot braver on that sofa, and having a really good look around! Smile

Yup, surveying his new kingdom.

He's just trying to work out wtf you're doing in his new house.

yes, mine hid for about 3 days - tracked him down one morning underneath a kitchen unit that we have to remove to get him out

He's been super brave, playing lots this afternoon and hoovering up all the dreamies I'd placed around the place. He's also moved from inside the bookshelf into the cat basket which has his blanket in 💕🥰
Thanks all fir your wise kitty words 🥰💕🐱🥂
