Missing house cat

I'm hoping for some positive stories here!

My female cat is indoors only due to some health issues - she's 5 and has never been outside.

Last night she got out of the back door and she's done a runner she's tiny and black so really hard to spot at the best of times!

I've left her litter and her food outside but there's no sign of her - we've checked the shed/garage and asked the neighbours to keep an eye out. I've also blasted social media.

Any other advice or positive stories? Her older kitty brother looks lost and keeps looking for her 😞

Thanks @Stickytreacle I've put fresh food out at all her mealtimes but nothing has been touched so far.

We're in Cumbria and were hit by the storms last night so can only hope she's taken shelter somewhere safe. The wind was horrendous and there's debris everywhere this morning!

Oh bless her, she might take a while to pluck up the courage to come for food, one of mine was missing for four and a half months, but we persevered with food and a camera every night and eventually spotted him and trapped him a few days later.

Wow, four and a half months! They really are resilient little things aren't they?!

At the moment I'm just pleased she's been sighted. She's quite a brave cat really so I'm hoping she has the sense to come home as it calms.

She's tiny though so my main concern is her getting trapped or shut somewhere without anyone realising she's there. I suspect she'll be starving when we get her back

Found her a few gardens away and bribed her out with some cheese.

She's absolutely fine and has eaten her breakfast and is now terrorising her brothers 🙄

Here she is!

She's obviously been hiding in a garage as she smells of engine oil but she's not injured or anything - she's eaten, had a drink and a wee and is now sat on the radiator

Thanks so much everyone - I am so so relieved she's safe and warm especially as were forecast snow today and the temperatures were below freezing last night.

She spent most of yesterday cuddled up on or near my lap purring her head off
