6 weeks since a new teenage kitten turned our established cat has finally accepted him. The first weeks were tough - she (established cat) ended up sick with stress because of the newbie but thankfully he is brilliant in his body language and totally flops over and lies on the ground to show he's no treat! Hurray! Bloody cats are mad!

Got any photos of the new and old cats?

That's great that they're getting on or at least tolerating each other.

My old boy has an attitude of "Kittens these days, no respect for their elders. When I was a lad etc. etc." He huffs around the place and expects to be respected.
Our teenage cats roll their eyes and keep on kittening.

Lovely to hear they established cat is accepting of the kitten now! I'd love to get another cat but I'm worried that my cat would actually hate me 😂 that being said we've recently moved house and he has been found making friends with next doors cat in the window!

My old boy was just the same- your comment really makes me smile, bringing back memories of my most loved boy Smile

Great news op, I'm pleased harmony (of sorts!) is returning!
