Booster jabs...

Oh dear - just phoned the vet to organise annual booster jabs and was told that there's a big shortage of vaccines and so I should ring back in a couple of months as they're (understandably) saving them for unvaxxed kittens!

The cats are already a month overdue... anyone any idea if this is likely to be a problem for a couple of middle-aged hunting moggies?

Think there's a 5 or 6 month period where you are ok to not have it. My cats' boosters were delayed last year due to covid

Googling suggests 3 months late is OK but I'm sure my 2 went longer than that

Oh good. Thank you. I didn't want either of them to run the risk of catching anything off prey or during a scrap!

Hi, my boy was due in June, but due to Covid and shortages, he's still not had it but booked in for next wednesday.
They didn't mention starting over so I guess just the booster will be given. Hope you get it sorted soon
