Hello All

I have another thread in chat hopefully this has linked it

https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/4387673-tell-me-about-ragdolls

I wasn't sure how to get it moved across to litter tray and was advised on there that this is would probably be better place to get help.

I am going to see the kittens today to pick mine! Can you please give me any pointers to what I am looking for, questions to ask etc...

Thanks Grin

Ragdolls we're bred mostly for personality, they love their family and love kids and other pets too! So amazing choice for a family who already has other pets. They are a moderately energetic breed, and tend to be more than happy to cuddle up to their owners as well.

From a veterinary point of view (I'm a vet tech student, so I'm not an actual vet), there aren't any major diseases to look out for either, which is nice. They do have long fur so you'll have to brush them often to keep from matting.

As for picking out at kitten, look for alertness, clear eyes, clean, and curiosity. Kittens tend to be more bold toward new people than adult cats. Make sure the place you are getting the kitten from is clean too, and ask about shots and if the parents had any medical issues.
