Anyone got a cat that's been on long term steroids?

My cat has been on long term steroids since she was a kitten, she's now 8.5yo.

She has an autoimmune condition (eosinophilic granuloma) and any time we've tried to reduce the dose the condition flares up. It's not been much of an issue but recently she has started to lose fur and now has several large bald patches.

Has anyone else had this with steroid use?

My cat has - 6 months though so no obvious long term effects yet. Baldness occurs with humans so makes sense it would with cats. Maybe get routine bloods done to check liver function etc?

Thanks she has recently had a check up and was found to be in good health, I'll speak to the vet to see what they think. I'd rather avoid taking her in for blood tests unless absolutely necessary as she hates the vets and gets so stressed out there 😕
