I'm confused as to how you appear to have 10 fingers in the photos and there is no blood!

Never mind poor Snorg, it would be poor me if I tried bathing any of the cats I've ever owned.

She's a very good girl and doesn't bear grudges at all. She now smells of Marshmallow. She does allow me to groom her but is much more cooperative at the groomer.

I would need to call in the SAS to get my cats to take a bath!

Her coat is beautifully soft and silky. She's purring her head off next to me. So definitely no grudges!

Although it could be lulling me into a false sense of security while she plots my death. (Though she's not clever enough for plotting)

OK, maybe I am missing something, but WHY are you giving a cat a bath?

I am 54.
We have owned cats my whole life, usually 2 at a time.
I have never, and my parents have never given a cat a bath.
(although they had one who used to fall in the bath, and run across the pond and fall in, but he is another story)

It's just what the groomer does. Previous groomers haven't done it. She doesn't really need one. But it's quite handy for making sure any poo stuck in her fluff is gone. If she hated it. I wouldn't have it done. But I think she quite likes the massage with the shower head.

Bear in mind that the lovely Snork is a very long coated Persian, and they need regular coat maintenance to prevent snarls and tangles.

I tried it with my fluffball when he was a big kitten but I wouldn't risk that again, and I don't think I'd be able to hold him. I barely managed it last time, and I was scratched all over! How do you get a cat to accept it?

Actually, I think your typo is the perfect description for giant floofballs who look huge but are all fluff and no cat eg Tiddles looks huge but it's just fluffy fat
