Tracking litter round the house!

Can anyone please offer some advice? Cat is tracking fine litter ( he likes the clumping catsan type as he is planning to be high maintenance) all round the house on his paws. He is very clean and we use a closed in box for him which he likes. We’ve tried a small mat in front of the box but it’s not working. What am I missing? Thanks!

Dustpan and brush by the litter tray, sweep up every time.

We have this kind and it stops most of the litter. We have quite a big one.

Fuck knows, to be honest. Our ridiculous cat has furry paws / between toes (long hair) and gets litter everywhere.

Yesterday he got out of the litter tray with a massive bounce then shook all his feet in turn resulting in litter hitting me in the face. In the face.

I'm considering shaving him, I don't think anything else would work. Unless I roll him in one of those litter trapping mats and tie him up with string?!

Top entry box? Ours are bastards for kicking the litter about, it even managed to out from inside their covered tray. A top entry box solved the problem.
