We are moving on Friday. I have a cat that doesn’t use a litter tray but I am going to have to try something. Does anyone know of an idea or the most natural litter I can get for him.

Trying not to think about the problems this will cause in an old cat. I have his catio all ready for him but just incase he won’t go to the loo in there. I want an alternative option. I don’t think any option will be good enough for his highness. But it is worth a try don’t u think ?

Ultra clumping. It’s very soft like soil but also very expensive & cats expect the best.

Thanks

Why not try a tray of dirt? If that's what he's used to going in.

That's what we did years ago with our two cats who wouldn't use normal litter.

I am putting out several. Tray of dirt. Some small stones and a litter box. He is fairly old so don’t want to give him lots of options so nothing causes any trouble.

Tray of dirt if you want muddy prints all over the house.
We used wood pellets until recently, they go into the compost bin. We have just switched to Catsan and we prefer it because we only have to change half as often.

To be honest I will have anything as long as it works.
