Was feeding a combo of dry and a well known popular pouch food. DCat producing putrid poo. Replaced pouch food with cooked chicken and continued with dried food. Problem with poo completely resolved.

Is this sustainable long term?

What pouch food was it? Did it contain grains?
Maybe try a grain free wet although if the dry food is complete then it should be fine alongside the cooked chicken

My cat used to produce awful poo.
Settled now on natures menu pouches and lily's kitchen small 60p trays.
Also has purizon dry biscuits which are grain free. You can get small trial packs on zooplus.

Cheddar was really sick on royal
Canin. Tried a couple of other brands . But the only one that suits her highnesses tummy is Iams vitality.

Thank you for your advice. Tummy seems to be holding.

I've got one with a sensitive tum - Good Bistro really works for him, both the chicken and the fish. For dry I use part James Wellbeloved (fish) and either Good or Lily's Kitchen chicken. They eat their pouch food now instead of leaving half, and we have normal poo.
