Last week a gorgeous little black cat strayed in to me and I really need to find him a good home. He is the loveliest little thing. Really friendly, chatty and affectionate. I can't keep him, as I'm already trying to find homes for 3 other strays. I've contacted rescues who can't/won't help, just offered to post his details on their Facebook pages. I've asked friends, contacts, vets, put posters up, but no luck so far.
I took him to the vet today for vaccinations, etc, and he said he's a great little cat, probably 9 months old, in very good condition and has difinitely had a home. He checked him for a microchip, but he doesn't have one. FYI, the vet said that dogs have now started to be dumped and left to stray, in the same way as cats have always been, due people arseholes abandoning them, following the lockdowns.
I am so stressed about all the stray cats coming to me, and wondered if anyone has any suggestions to find him a forever family. To narrow it down, I live in Mid-West Ireland. There are lovely ladies in the village who feed and take care of the strays, and I do my bit, but finding homes for the cats is almost impossible. Thanks!
