Cat fighting - how can I try and stop this??

Hi All

I have an eight year old male (neutered) cat who I know gets into fights as on occasion he's come home looking quite beaten up. My neighbour is accusing my cat of attacking hers and also claims other neighbours have problems with my aggressive cat and as such is requesting that I only allow him out at night as her cat only goes out in the day.

I have no evidence he's attacking the cat. When other cats come in our garden I have only seen him stand his ground and never make the first move, however accept he is more than capable of doing so. We also have another cat and a dog and I've never seen him have a go at them either.

Anyone had any similar experience? Is there anything I can do to reduce any aggression my cat may have?

I guess it will be 'your cat' that will be the one poo-ing in everyone else's garden in a five mile radius, and scratching their cars too... 🤷‍♀️

Ask for video evidence.

Thanks 2leftsocksGrin, you're right. Might stop answering the door for a while!
