Diarrhoea and vomiting - when to see vet?

My 7 year old female cat has had episodes of vomiting and diarrhoea all weekend. A few times each day but only small amounts each time. I am not sure how much she is eating (we have 2 cats who share the same bowls) but I think it’s less than normal. She is mainly an indoor cat and we don’t have any different flowers or plants. She was out with me in the garden over the weekend however I wasn’t aware of her eating anything. She is not very adventurous with food and tends to just stick with her kibble. She is never normally sick, unlike boy cat who is often vomits!

She seems ok in herself but I am wondering if I should take her to the vet or is it ok to leave another day or so to see how she is? I do tend to rush to the vets too quickly sometimes and she absolutely hates going so would prefer to hold off if it’s ok to do so.

Any advice on how to treat her at home?

I'd call the vet as soon as they open for advice.

I am a vet and if someone called with those symptoms I would offer an appointment - I would want to check things like is the cat painful, dehydrated, or running a fever (all not very easy to check at home as cats hide these things).

@Calmestofallthechickens and @zafferana, thank you. I’ll call the vet.
